Shea is the investing arm of J.F Shea Company, one of the United States’ oldest and biggest privately held construction firms. Shea Ventures, located in California, was founded in 1968 and invests in third-party vehicles as well as making direct investments in early-stage firms. Computer software, semiconductors, biotechnology, and medical devices are among the areas in which the business invests.
